Test - Podcast Interview

Our first task we had to do was record a conversation between two people as they reply to an interviewers questions. Myself and Georgia were asked questions by Liam. The questions topics were evolved around our media diploma course. The main question was 'Explain the 180 Diploma course to a new student/perspective'.  Once we recorded our footage we had to edit it using Premiere Pro, when editing we were asked to cut out the questions asked an use the replies as the audio for the whole podcast. This was a challenge as my group and I worded our replies bluntly without any description of the question. We will use this mistake as a way to improve our future podcasts, and next time intertwine the questions into the responses.

Final Podcast

For my final podcast, I interviewed a man called John Weaave. John Weaave previously worked as a film editor. I felt john was an ideal person to interview as he had previous experience in the film industry and he could give me useful tips, advice on how to get into the industry. Once I finished the interview with John, I edited his response on Adobe Audition, including an intro and outro, as well as a wildtrack. The audio also consisted of subtle sounding foley sounds to add texture and give more personality to the podcast. I have had lots of feedback on my podcast and added improvements along the way, to create this final finished podcast, linked below.
